An authentic 1858 United States Silver Three-Cent piece, commonly known as a 'Trime.' This is the smallest silver coin ever minted by the US. The obverse features a large six-pointed star with a shield in the center, surrounded by the text 'United States of America' and the date 1858. The reverse (not pictured but assumed) would feature a large ornamental 'C' enclosing the Roman numeral 'III'.
