Description

Vintage 1999 Pokemon Base Set Kadabra card. This is the highly desirable 'Shadowless' version, identifiable by the lack of a drop shadow to the right of the character art box and the thinner HP font. Featuring art by Ken Sugimori, this card is Stage 1 (evolves from Abra), number 32/102.

Key Features

Shadowless variant (rarer than Unlimited base set), original Wizards of the Coast printing, high nostalgia/collectible factor due to the 20-year legal ban on Kadabra cards (now lifted).

Authenticity Indicators

Correct font spacing, year string (1995, 96, 98, 99) includes the '99' unique to Shadowless/1st Ed; matte finish and color saturation appear consistent with WotC standards. Confidence: High.

Flaws to Note

Edge wear/whitening visible on the yellow borders; potential light scratches on the non-holo surface; corner rounding at the top left. Permanent use-wear.

Selling Guide

Where to Sell

eBay (for highest reach and 'Sold' data tracking), TCGPlayer (market standard for individual cards), or Mercari.

Selling Tips

Use 'Shadowless' and 'WotC' in the title. Take high-resolution photos of the card outside of the sleeve, specifically the back four corners. Ship in a 'top loader' and team bag inside a cardboard-reinforced envelope to prevent transit damage.
